Qantas adds east coast capacity

first_imgSource = e-Travel Blackboard: N.J A day after announcing cuts to its Northern Territory network, Qantas has announced a capacity increase on routes across the east coast.The extra 25,800 seats per week over 2012/13 will see the airline add 11 return services between Sydney and Melbourne from 9 July this year as well as 11 return services between Sydney and Brisbane from 23 August this year.Jetstar will also add services including 21 return services between Sydney and Melbourne from 16 August this year and seven return services between Sydney and Adelaide from 15 November this year, Sydney and Ballina-Byron  as well as Sydney and the Gold Coast both from 18 April 2013.Three return Jetstar flights will also be added between Adelaide and Gold Coast from 18 April 2013 as well as four return flights between Newcastle and Gold Coast.For more information click back onto e-Travel Blackboard tomorrow. last_img
