Locals spending more in SA

first_imgSouth Australia’s tourism industry has welcomed a spike in domestic visitor expenditure, beating out the national growth over the past year.According to statistics released by the latest National Visitor Survey statistics, the state saw a 7.4 percent domestic visitor expenditure growth while nationally there was a zero percent increase.International visitor expenditure in South Australia also exceeded the national level with a jump of 4.7 percent compared to 3.9 percent for the rest of the country.
