The two shared an opening stand of 60 but the Royals lost their way a little in the end before finally crossing the finish line with 4 wickets in hand.Rahane, captain of the Rajasthan Royals, said he was not happy with the way his team played despite being in top gear against Mumbai Indians. Thanks to Buttler’s assault on Alzarri Joseph when he took 28 runs in a single over, the Royals were on the doorstep to victory before a collapse left them shaken. When Jos Buttler fell to Rahul Chahar in the 14th over, Rajasthan Royals needed 41 runs off 58 balls. Sanju Samson and Rahul Tripathi looked in control but RR lost 4 wickets for 4 runs in a space of 7 balls and there were some nervous moments in the dressing room.Ajinkya Rahane said his team should learn from these mistakes.”Not really happy with the way we played,” Rahane said at the post-match presentation ceremony. “Because of Buttler.. that one over (off Joseph) changed the game. But the guys should learn from their mistakes. 30 off 30.. we should have won easily. There’s a lot to learn from this game.advertisement”I am sure there will be discussions in the dressing room but yes, we will take this win any day. There is no stress because games are going close especially in this IPL..”We have been playing good cricket but not able to finish those close moments but yes there was a bit of nervousness inside but we believed Gopal and Gowtham to finish the game for us. Buttler was terrific against the spinners in the middle overs,” he said.Meanwhile, Jos Buttler felt he should have stayed till the end and finished the game for Rajasthan Royals.”We were a little twitchy in the last couple of overs but great to get a win and we desperately needed it. It is great to contribute to your team and I am playing the best cricket I have played for a prolonged period of time.”I was very disappointed to get out when I did. When you give quality teams a litlte bit of a sniff, then they get back in the game. So very disappointing not to carry through and be there at the end,” he said. Also Read | MI vs RR Live Score, IPL 2019: Buttler in top gear after Rahane exit in 188 chaseAlso Read | Shakib relates to Dhoni’s outburst at umpires: I did the same in Nidahas TrophyAlso Read | IPL 2019: Jos Buttler 89 scripts Rajasthan Royals victory over Mumbai IndiansAlso Watch | KKR head coach Jacques Kallis explains why he is in awe of Andre RusselFor sports news, updates, live scores and cricket fixtures, log on to indiatoday.in/sports.
