But after getting only limited reps with the team in that span, he’s decided to transfer. Having narrowed down his choices to two, he has reportedly made his decision.According to Mike Uva of WACH FOX, Feaster will be transferring to the University of South Carolina. Earlier this month he had reduced his choices to South Carolina and Virginia Tech.In three seasons for the Tigers, Feaster had 222 carries for 1,330 yards and 15 touchdowns. He saw his most extensive time on the field in 2017, when he rushed 107 times for 669 yards and seven touchdowns.Uva tweeted on Sunday that he will be enrolling at South Carolina after he graduates from Clemson this summer.Breaking: Tavien Feaster will enroll at USC following his graduation at Clemson. @wachfox has been told that there is no date set at this time for Feaster’s first day with the Gamecocks but he’s expected to join the team following the the end of Clemson’s summer schedule (Aug 5).— Mike Uva (@Mike_Uva) July 29, 2019For the Gamecocks, they get a speedster who is likely going to have a big role in the offense. South Carolina uses running backs by committee though, so crossing the 1,000-yard plane may not happen for Feaster.Last year the Gamecocks went 7-5 in the regular season, securing a spot in the Belk Bowl but losing to Virginia. As for the Tigers, Travis Etienne is entrenched as the starter, and could be a Heisman contender this season. They’re also poised to pick up several new running backs in the incoming freshman class.UPDATE: Feaster has confirmed the move on Instagram, donning a Gamecocks jersey in his announcement.last_img
