CHICAGO – Freshman quarterback Ian Corwin (Tulsa, Okla.) of the Drake University football team is the STATS FCS National Freshman Player of the Week. Corwin earned the national award after he helped lead Drake to a 41-17 road win at Marist on Saturday in Drake’s Pioneer Football League opener.
